Funding has recently been awarded for the experiment, including;

  • Australian Research Council (ARC) Future Fellowship with match funding from the University of the Sunshine Coast (2018-2022) totalling $1,686,166.02 – read more
  • funding from IUCN Sustain and the African Wildlife Foundation to further expand the FoRCE work in Tanzania to include seed germination trials, habitat manipulation experiments and restoration planning
  • research priming funds from the University of York to establish FoRCE in Tanzania (2015-ongoing) A$108,912
